By special invitation, our Alexandra Orlando was asked to perform at the Opening Ceremonies.
It was the first time the event was hosted by the Gymnastics Canada Federation. After the scheduled performances, RITMIKA gymnasts were chosen to also perform at the Closing Gala performance. Canadian gymnaestrada was just the warm up for the International Gymnaestrada to be held next year in Austria, where RITMIKA gymnasts will again be taking part. RITMIKA gymnasts have been attending international gymnaestradas since 1982, and the next one in Dornbirn, Austria from July 8-14th, 2007 will not be an exception - RITMIKA will be there !
