Pan American Games - Rio de Janeiro - July 28, 2007
Congratulations to Ritmika gymnasts !

Ritmika's Alexandra Orlando continues her outstanding performances, winning three gold medals in the rope, hoop, and clubs finals. Only an unfortunate equipment failure - when her ribbon detached from the stick - prevented her from a complete sweep, such as she did when she won 6 gold medals at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Alexandra Orlando was selected to be the Canadian flagbearer for the closing ceremonies at the XV Pan American Games at Maracana Stadium on July 29th.

Stefanie Carew of Ritmika came 4th in hoop, ribbon, and rope, and 7th in clubs.

Canada's rhythmic group won their second bronze medal in the five ropes final at Riocentro.
