As part of the preparation for participating in the Olympic Games, Mary Sanders competed on March 22-24, 2004 at Athens International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament. She came 8th All-Around in Preliminaries, and 9th in Finals. Mary, way to go !!

Deriugina Cup
Alexandra Orlando competed March 12-14, 2004 in Kiev, Ukraine at the NAFTOGRAZ Grand Prix for the Deriugina Cup. Alex came 15th All-Around (taking out extra gymnasts per country, this leaves Alex in 10th place). Excellent result !

Ontario Winter Games
Our provincial level athletes (Kayla Medeiros, Kim Fitzsimmons, and Ria Micks) competed at the Ontario Winter Games in London, Ontario on March 12-13, 2004. The competition was arranged into 5 teams, with each team comprised of competitors from several clubs. TEAM CATCH (with Ria Micks a member) came first; TEAM BALANCE (with Kayla Medeiros a member) came second; TEAM PIVOT (with Kim Fitzsimmons a member) came fourth.

Congratulations to Alexandra Orlando, Carly Orava, and Nathalie Ngo for their results at Elite Canada in Winnipeg. Alex came first in all 4 apparatus, and first overall ! Carly came 3rd, 3rd, 5th, and 8th in Clubs, Ribbon, Hoop, Ball respectively (6th AA); while Nathalie came 11th All-Around.
